Senior Warden

I came to St. Luke’s in 2023 and found an inclusive interpretation of scripture and caring community that quickly rekindled my relationship with God. From day one, I felt genuinely seen and valued here.
I’ve had several careers, but currently I do research and evaluation consulting for behavioral health and justice deflection programs. I strongly believe that systems should work for those they serve, not the other way around, and my work helps me support that goal.
I strongly value safety, justice, accountability, and unconditional compassion. For over 20 years, I have volunteered through mentorship opportunities, community organizing, and hands-on care. St. Luke’s welcomes my efforts but encourages me not to burn myself out, reminding me that I can say no sometime. I try to honor that compassion by creating opportunities to connect with our community in ways that are manageable and comfortable for others.
I love boardgames, traveling, antiquing, cooking/baking, crocheting by the fire, and spending time with my husband and cats. I’m endlessly curious about how things work, from biology, to technology, to social systems, and one of my favorite hobbies is imagining ways the world could function a little more efficiently, justly, and kindly.
