The fullness of God’s truth in the scriptures can only be understood in community.
We each bring our own experiences, identity, and history to our reading of the scriptures, which means that we each interpret those scriptures in a different way.
At Bible Reflection, we read the lessons for the upcoming Sunday—often from different translations like the King James Version or The Message. We each share our own different approach to those scriptures and listen to each other’s, and we let the tension and synergy between those different interpretations create an even fuller understanding of God’s Word.
