I’ve come to the realization that there are three things I have to accept to stay on this pilgrim way. Three realities, if you will:
"Good and bad things will happen—don’t be surprised," St. James famously said.
I must take risks and use faith to make decisions and choices, because I cannot know the outcomes or the future.
I have to practice the skills I have been given. I can’t just know about them, I have to put them into practice.
